NATO: Two ISAF servicemembers killed in Afghanistan
An ISAF servicemember from the United States died following an IED strike in southern Afghanistan today. Another ISAF servicemember died in an insurgent engagement in eastern Afghanistan today.

MoD: Soldier from 36 Engineer Regiment killed in Afghanistan
the Ministry of Defence must confirm that a soldier from 36 Engineer Regiment, part of the Counter-IED Task Force, was killed in Afghanistan yesterday, Monday 8 February 2010. The soldier was killed as a result of an explosion which happened in the Nad 'Ali district of central Helmand province

AP: Afghan Avalanches Kill At Least 28
Avalanches on a mountain pass north of Kabul have killed at least 28 people, with another 1,500 stranded in their vehicles on snow-blocked roads, Afghan officials said Tuesday. The Afghan Defense Ministry released a statement saying another 70 people have been injured and transported to hospitals as the military and police continued rescue efforts to dig out those trapped in the snow.

Quqnoos: Four Police Die in Afghan Bombing
A roadside bomb struck a police vehicle in Kandahar city on Sunday, killing four policemen. The "very big bomb" was placed under a bridge and exploded as the police vehicle was passing, a senior local police official, Col Abdul Ahmad, told AFP. "Four policemen who were bringing food to their post were killed" in the blast," Col Abdul Ahmad added.

Sgt. Dillon B. Foxx, 22, of Traverse City, Mich., died Feb. 5 in Bala Murghab, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.
